Everglades Rat Snake.Elaphe Obsoleta Rossalleni.One of my favorite snakes. This is the first one I owned, which I found on a road trip to South Florida. Unfortunately he "ran away from home" while I was deployed after several years of fine companionship (for a snake). I now have a young captive bred specimen who is growing into an impressive beast like his predecessor.
