Eyelash Viper (Oropel)  (Bothreichis Schlegeli) - This small, highly variable viper uses camouflage and sit-and-wait tactics to hunt lizards, rodents, and frogs. Individuals may be bright yellow, green, brown, grey, reddish, and even white or pink. Various colors may occur in the same litter of snakes. This area is known for its yellow specimens. Cahuita, Costa Rica.
