California Mountain Kingsnake - Lampropeltis zonata - The epic and elusive Mountain King. This is an abberant specimen, meaning it has an atypical pattern. It's white and black bands do not encircle the entire body, leaving it with an almost completely red underside. A very interesting find on a day that had already been extremely productive.
