Eastern Massasauga.Sistrurus catenatus catenatus. An endangered species and the rarest snake in this state with perhaps 500 remaining at only two locations according to the estimates I've read. I had to do my homework to find this bad boy. Photographed and left to sustain his population. These animals deserve more protection than they get.
