Andrea Weimer, a volunteer for Alaska WildBird Rehabilitation Center in Big Lake Alaska, caretakes "Sandy," a Sandhill Crane used for educational presentations. Sandy was imprinted on humans as a chick and percieves Weimer and the staff at the rehabilitation center as members of her flock.
