080414-N-7981E-547 Pacific Ocean (April 12, 2008)- Hook runners assigned to Air Department's V-2 Division carry the five foot steel bars used to guide arresting gear cable back in place off the flight deck following a fixed-wing recovery cycle aboard Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). Lincoln and Carrier Strike Group Nine are currently underway on a scheduled seven-month deployment to the 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
